WIJCHEN 5th May 2011: HUISMAN GROUP B.V. WINS BEST MANAGED COMPANIES TITLE, IN THE NETHERLANDS, THREE TIMES IN A ROW.
Huisman Group B.V. has recently been nominated again as one of the best managed companies in the Netherlands.
This competition was organised by Deloitte in conjunction with TiasNimbas Business School, The Chamber of Commerce, VNO-NCW employers associations and the Dutch Magazine: Management Team. The competition seeks to find the best 50 managed companies within the medium/large range segment of the market.
Huisman competed for the third time in this annual competition, together with 150 companies, and won the shared title of Best Managed Companies 2011 which the company may hold for another year.
John Scholten, Director and owner of the Huisman Group, was delighted with this achievement.
“We are very proud to have won the title again, especially in this time. The countries we are specialized in, Great Britain and Ireland, have had difficult economic times the past three years. But we maintained our high quality service and values and did not give in on that. This now pays back. Clients who’ve had chosen other, less alternatives because of the price pressure are now back. And also our present clients are carefully starting to grow.
It is now up to us to maintain our quality service even in times of growth. We are more than ready and the fact that we belong to the best managed companies in The Netherlands gives us extra support and motivation”.
The Best Managed Companies programme is set up for companies not quoted on the Stock Exchange, with at least 50 employees and a turnover in excess of 10m. The programme sets itself apart and does not only concentrate on continued growth but the strategy and performance within the companies. Risk Management, Internal Organisation, Marketing and Sales and Human Resources Management receive special attention within the programme.
